Robert Kenney, DDS

Born into an Air Force family, Rob Kenney grew up all over the United States. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University for his undergraduate studies and graduated with a degree in chemistry.  He continued his education at the Medical College of Virginia, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981.

While at the Medical College of Virginia, Rob joined the United States Navy.  He served in the Navy Dental Corps for 22 years.  During that time, he was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California, on a ship, at Bethesda and Portsmouth Naval Hospitals and at various dental clinics in the Virginia Beach area. 

Rob completed both a Prosthodontics Residency and a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at the Naval Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists and a member of the American College of Prosthodontists.

Rob is married to Tami, and they have two children, Kristen and Patrick.  Most of their free time is spent traveling to see Kristen in Florida or Patrick at James Madison University.
